Easter doesn't stop on Sunday....we underestimate the 40 days that followed the Resurrection. How amazing it must have been for Jesus' followers do see a dead man walking. Jesus appeared to hundreds of people while he was here on Earth during the days that followed the Crucifixion. If there hadn't been so many that saw him alive then there wouldn't be Christianity today. He would have just been another man killed.
Today's Challenge: Choose something to give up for 40 days. Each time you want to go back to the item you are fasting from think of the 40 days Christ was with the disciples...know in your heart he is with you and be strong to push thru.
This challenge does last longer than a day, but the amazing sacrifice we have been blessed for promises us eternity-what can you give up for 40 to show your Savior that you are thankful and blessed!
