Raw Fruit & Veggie Fast

Let's face it the world is a carnivore society...we love our steak, sausage and chicken.  Me included.  However, we underestimate the need for fresh vegetables and fruits in our diet. Yes we all love salad...with processed salad dressing on it...or the very healthy celery stick with peanut butter smeared all over it.

Our diet should be approximately 75% raw foods anyway so let's try it for one day...let's do a raw fast!  Doing a Raw Fast helps remove toxins from your body and can jump start weight loss. Be cautious about just rushing into it but one day will get started on the right track to reintroducing RAW into your diet.

Today's Challenge: For one day--commit to a fresh fruit and veggie fast. It's best to juice your own veggies and not drink juices from a can, etc. And refrain from those processed frozen veggies...they aren't the same. This may take some planning so you may need to implement this a different day but plan it today.
