Family Challenge: Oscar Night

Tonight is the Oscars....all the stars will be dressed to a T, walking the red carpet and the winners will be accepting thier gold statue awards. The fame that surrounds the Oscars touches many different countries. These actors, actresses, producers, directors and everyone involved in the film industry make movies that bring us to tears, challenge us to think and see different sides of life or make us laugh so hard we hurt for hours. Amazing talent isn't just in the cinema; it's in your own home too!

Think of the gold statues you should be giving out to your family. Who should win the "Most Giving" Oscar or "Sweetest Smile"? What other fun awards could you give out?

Today's Challenge: Make A few "Oscar Statues" out of paper and award them to your family members. Have fun with it! Imagine the Oscar award for "Greatest Cookies" going to Grandma. Imagine her face when she just opens up an envelope with a picture of a gold statue and the "Greatest Cookies" written on the bottom.

Show the famous ones in your life how they have influenced you.  Take this unique idea and hand out     Oscars every year.

Challenge Issued!
